My Philosophy on Storytelling

Getting a degree in Anthropology it is easy to decipher that I find culture fascinating. My favorites are ancient cultures, right when language was developing. Because when language developed we used stories to explain the world around us: why the stars are there, where the rives goes, what lies on the other side of the mountains. The more we told these stories the more belief we had, the more truth became. This was our first notion of humanity and became the best form of healing. We can feel how another person feels from accepting their story, also we feel connected to them if we tell our story. All the technology in the world cannot put you into another's mind, but if we simply listen to each other we will connect and empathize. This is why I find entertainment is a wholesome way to connect people. I am proud to be a storyteller, and to dedicate my life to this journey.
